This debilitating disease is characterized by laziness, a total lack of work ethic, and an inflated sense of entitlement.  The afflicted are often self-righteous and ignorant and feel that the world owes them everything.  They believe they are superior to everyone and somehow deserve more (money, food, material goods, etc) than the rest of the world all while expending little to no effort.  They also refuse to accept responsibility for their actions and instead choose to blame others for their misfortunes.  They are quick to complain and point out others' flaws, yet seem unable to realize their own.  Sufferers are typically impolite, ill mannered, and disrespectful.  Normally those with EAS are shallow and one-dimensional- they lack the ability to see issues from another perspective.  They are very narrow-minded and self-centered.  There is no known cure.  Some sufferers report complete recovery, but it usually comes at a terrible cost- financial ruin, incarceration, physical harm, or emotional devastation- the proverbial "Rock Bottom".  I only hope that one day we can work together to wipe out this insufferable condition
