I'm a  Filipino woman and I've heard many  sterotypes. While there are some who may fit the bill, not all do. I'd like to dispell a few of these stereotypes.

1/ Not all Filipinos are nurses! I am not science minded.

2/ Not all Filipinos are nannys! I hate kids of all ages!! (Except mine)

3/Not all Filipinos are good at math! I have flunked at math many many times!!

4/ Not all Filipinos can play the piano or sing! I have been paid NOT to sing!!

5/ Filipinos do not eat the following animals; cats,dogs,monkeys squirrels,etc.

6/ Not all Filipinos are Catholic. I'm a member of the United Church.

7/ Not all Filipinos are health care aides. I can't stand looking after anyone!

8/ Not all Filipinos women are flat chested! That is not me!
